LAKE CHARLES, La. – Two Lake Charles women have been arrested for allegedly producing counterfeit video gaming tickets that were illegally redeemed at gaming locations across Calcasieu Parish.
State police says Jennifer Stewart and Alisha Baudoin (BOH'-dwan), both 33, were booked with theft and monetary instrument abuse.
Troopers say eight gaming establishments have been reportedly victimized, with losses in the thousands of dollars.
The American Press reports the women were booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on Friday.
Troopers said the investigation continues and other charges and arrests are likely.
It was unclear whether the suspects had attorneys.
