SEATTLE – The Latest on the arrest of a man following the discovery of body parts inside a Seattle recycling bin (all times local):

Prosecutors have filed a first-degree murder charge against a man accused of killing and dismembering a woman he recently started dating and dumping her remains in a Seattle recycling bin over the weekend.
The King County Prosecutor's Office says John Charlton killed 40-year-old Ingrid Lyne in her suburban Renton home and drove some of her body parts to Seattle in her vehicle.
The medical examiner says Lyne was intentionally killed but didn't say how she died or when.
Charlton also is charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Lyne's car was found in downtown Seattle on Monday.
Charlton is in jail on $2 million bail. His public defender, Gordon Hill, said no forensic evidence linked any particular person to the crime.
Charlton's next court appearance is set for late April.

Medical examiners have confirmed that body parts found in a Seattle homeowner's recycling bin last weekend were that of Ingrid Lyne, a 40-year-old mother of three who authorities say was slain and dismembered in her suburban home.
The King County Medical Examiner's Office reported Wednesday that Lyne died of homicidal violence, but the date of her death was unknown.
A King County judge ordered John Robert Charlton, 37, to be held on $2 million bail in connection to the case. Prosecutors said he could face a second-degree murder charge. He is due in court on Thursday.
Lyne was reported missing from her Renton home on Saturday. Charlton was arrested Monday.
