A man who claims he was sexually abused by Jerry Sandusky in a Penn State shower 15 years ago is sticking by his story.
Pennlive.com reports (http://bit.ly/2fa0ErF) that Sandusky's lawyer challenged the accuser during an appeal hearing Friday, confronting him with a 2011 statement in which he told police he hadn't been abused. The man later changed his story and won a civil settlement from Penn State.
Friday was the first time he testified in the case.
Prosecutors didn't call the man as a witness at Sandusky's 2012 trial because they doubted he was the young boy known as Victim 2. Former assistant football coach Mike McQueary has said he saw Victim 2 in the shower with Sandusky.
Sandusky was convicted on charges of abusing 10 boys, including Victim 2.

A man who claims to have been the young boy seen being abused by ex-coach Jerry Sandusky in a Penn State shower 15 years ago is expected to testify Friday in Sandusky's appeal of his conviction.
It will be the first time he has testified in the case.
Lawyers for the 29-year-old man say he is the person who was identified during the 2012 Sandusky trial only as Victim 2.
But the man who led the Sandusky prosecution does not believe he is the same person assistant football coach Mike McQueary saw in the shower with Sandusky.
Sandusky's lawyers argue their client did not get a fair trial, in part because his legal team at the time mishandled the issue of Victim 2's identity.
