LOS ANGELES – The Latest on the search for the winner of a $63 million California Lottery ticket (all times local):

Luck may have run out for the winner of a California Lottery jackpot: The person has apparently let $63 million slip through their fingers.
Lottery officials say the six-month deadline to claim the prize expired at 5 p.m. Thursday without anyone producing the winning ticket or making a verified claim.
However, at least one person is suing, claiming he submitted the winning ticket but was refused the prize.
If no claim is verified, the money goes to the state's schools.
It's the largest unclaimed prize in California history — dwarfing the previous record of $28.5 million from a 2003 game.
The SuperLotto Plus ticket was sold on Aug. 8 at a 7-Eleven store in Los Angeles. The winning numbers were: 46-1-33-30-16 and the Meganumber: 24.

Lottery officials say nobody has claimed the prize, but at least one man disagrees.
A lawsuit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles says Brandy Milliner turned in the ticket, but it was rejected by lottery officials who said it was too damaged. He wants a judge to declare him the winner.
Lottery officials say they are looking into the claim.
