Authorities say a Texas man accused by federal authorities of trying to blow up a Dallas-area natural gas pipeline had posted anti-government beliefs on Facebook and was wanted for a probation violation in California.

Anson Chi (chee) is charged with possessing an explosive device after authorities say he detonated a bomb at a natural gas regulator station in the Dallas suburb of Plano. Chi was critically injured in the blast, which caused minimal damage to the station.

Plano police spokesman David Tilley says Chi was found injured near the explosion late Sunday night, claiming he had been jogging and was hit by a car.

Documents show Chi pleaded guilty to a concealed weapons charge in Orange County, Calif., in 2008. Online court records don't list a defense attorney for him.
