VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after he accidentally fired a gun and killed his friend in a Southern California home.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said deputies found the body of 18-year-old Ronald McKinzie in the bedroom of the home in Victorville on Thursday night.
He was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene.
The teen, who was not identified because he's a juvenile, was arrested on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm resulting in death. He was booked into juvenile hall.
