Teen charged in parents murder in southwest Fla.

A 14-year-old in southwest Florida has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder after his parents were found dead in their bedroom.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office identified the teen as Alexander Crain. The victims were 40-year-old Thomas Crain and 39-year-old Kelly Crain. Deputies have recovered the weapon they believe was used in the shooting.

The teen is being held in the Collier County Juvenile Detention Center. Prosecutors will determine whether he'll be charged as an adult.

The sheriff's office says the parents were found fatally shot in their Naples home Thursday morning. A motive has not been released.

Neighbor Kimberly West says Alexander is the youngest of the couple's three sons.

Naples is about 100 miles west of Miami.
