Officials said there's still no sign of a man with outstanding arrest warrants two weeks after police said he avoided capture by slipping into a sewer system in New Jersey.

Authorities have been searching for 31-year-old Keith Jean of Roselle since Aug. 3 when he was a passenger in a car Harrison police pulled over. Police said Jean jumped into the Passaic River and entered a pipe that's connected to the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission's treatment plant in Newark.

A camera-equipped robot failed to find any sign of Jean in the pipe, where deadly gases gather amid chemicals, bacteria and human waste. Harrison Police Lt. David Doyle told NJ.com that police believe Jean escaped.

Cadaver dogs have found nothing, and family and friends have not asked about him.
