WATSONVILLE, Calif. – Authorities say a small plane has crashed into a community hospital in central California.
Witnesses told the Santa Cruz Sentinel that the plane took a nose dive and landed partially into the first floor of the building, just a few blocks from the Watsonville Municipal Airport.
The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A fire dispatcher had no word on any possible fatalities.
Witnesses told the newspaper that the plane burst into flames and black smoke billowed into the air.
