A woman in North Carolina has been charged with stealing an ambulance from a hospital.

WCNC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1YNFsYE) that security cameras caught 36-year-old Autumn Prieschl getting behind the wheel of the ambulance around 10 p.m. Thursday at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The ambulance had a GPS tracker, so police were able to stop it. A spokesman for MEDIC says crews often leave keys in their trucks so they can get to an emergency quickly.

Prieschl has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and trespassing. It wasn't known if she had an attorney.
