HARTFORD, Conn. – Police say an online threat has prompted a lockdown at a high school in Hartford. No injuries have been reported.
Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley says city officers and a state police SWAT team responded to Prince Technical High School on Thursday morning. He says initial reports of a student with a handgun at the school were incorrect.
Authorities said the threat apparently was made on social media. Details of the threat weren't disclosed.
A school official declined to comment Thursday morning.
