WASHINGTON-- Police are searching two locations in connection with the killing of a D.C. middle school principal and have a woman in custody.

Cpl. Dan Friz, a spokesman for police in Montgomery County, Md., says the arrest of the 46-year-old woman is related to the investigation into Brian Betts' death last month. He says more arrests are expected.

Friz says police served search warrants early Monday morning in the 4300 block of Third Street, Southeast -- less than half a mile from where Betts' SUV was discovered after he was killed -- and in the 5300 block of Fifth Street, Northwest.

The body of the 42-year-old Betts was discovered in his Silver Spring home April 15.
