Police: Off-duty New Jersey officer found dead killed self

SAYREVILLE, N.J. – Authorities say an off-duty New Jersey police officer found shot to death in his car in the parking lot of a closed movie theater complex killed himself.

Sayreville police Chief John Zebrowski said Tuesday the officer killed himself Monday morning. He says the officer's death "sheds more light on an insidious predator that has taken his life and so many others in law enforcement."
