Police in the Bahamas are investigating the stabbing death of a businessman from eastern Pennsylvania at a resort.

WCAU-TV in Philadelphia reported Saturday that police confirmed the death of 45-year-old Carl Yerger of Fleetwood.

The station says Yerger was killed in Bimini and his body was found early Friday morning. His cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.

Yerger's wife Rebecca tells the station he was an owner of Custom Milling and Consulting and was in the Bahamas on business.

Yerger also is president of the Oley Valley Youth Sports League. The Yergers have two young sons.
