Los Angeles – Police in Los Angeles on Tuesday were hunting a gunman who fatally shot a popular youth minister in the head.
Police said Oscar Duncan, 23, was in front of a home in the Venice neighborhood at around 10:30pm Monday when a group of men pulled up and spoke with him, KNBC-TV reported.
One of the men then opened fire and shot him in the head. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Duncan was a youth minister at Greater Zion Church Family in Compton, according to KNBC. He also worked closely with the Venice branch of the Boys & Girls Club and performed music under the name Choir Boy.
