A central Georgia woman has been arrested after police say she called 911 scores of times over several weeks.

Bibb County authorities charged 41-year-old Toshiba L. Smith of Macon, Georgia, with making false reports and misusing the emergency number earlier this week.

The Macon Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1OTEggN ) reports that the woman is accused of dialing 911 about 150 times since early June.

A sheriff's report says the woman was arrested Tuesday after calling 911 to claim a neighbor was using a recording device to monitor her. The report says Smith sometimes called 911 so often officers were showing up at her home back to back.

Officers had told her she could be arrested if she didn't stop making the calls.

Smith was released on $1,300 bond Wednesday. A telephone number listed in her name was disconnected Thursday.
