Police in North Carolina have made two arrests in connection with the shooting death of a police officer, although the main suspect remains at large.

The Shelby Star reports (http://bit.ly/2cY1Pwk) Police Capt. Steve Seate said Tuesday that Deitria Morris was arrested as an accessory after the fact in the death of Officer Tim Brackeen.

Seate also said Ashley Michelle Hamrick faces charges of felony harboring an escapee. It's believed she was harboring Irving Lucien Fenner Jr. in relation to the arrest warrants Brackeen was trying to serve Fenner last Saturday.

Chief Jeff Ledford said Brackeen was looking for the 23-year-old Fenner to serve warrants on him. Ledford said Brackeen found Fenner at a home, where the two struggled before Brackeen was shot in the chest. Brackeen died Monday.
