LAKE CHARLES, La. – Southwestern Louisiana authorities are investigating the killings of four people whose bodies were found in a mobile home.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso says police are looking for a dark blue 2000 Ford Explorer that was often parked near the home where deputies found the bodies of two men and two women Monday morning.
Police say a woman who hadn't been able to get in touch with her daughter went to check on her at the Lake Charles trailer park. Mancuso says the woman opened the door, saw a body just inside, and called 911.
He says all four victims probably were in their early 20s. He says they died of trauma but did not elaborate.
Two are tentatively identified, but police won't release names until families are notified.
