A man who coaches wrestling at an eastern Pennsylvania high school and for a team with practice facilities in several southeastern counties has been jailed on charges he possessed child pornography featuring images of young girls.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 50-year-old Thomas Scott Porter, of Upper Moreland Township. He faces a preliminary hearing Friday and remained in the Montgomery County Jail on Tuesday.

Montgomery County prosecutors say Porter downloaded the images on his home computer, but doesn't appear to be involved in creating them.

Porter is an assistant wrestling coach at Neshaminy High School in Bucks County and is a coach for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Wrestling Team, a youth organization with practice facilities in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties.
