SCRANTON, Pa. – A northeastern Pennsylvania man who injected his semen into the yogurt of two co-workers has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Sixty-year-old Joseph Bartorillo of Larksville pleaded guilty to a federal charge of tampering with a consumer product. He was sentenced Tuesday in Scranton.
Prosecutors say Bartorillo injected yogurt containers of co-workers at the Procter & Gamble plant in Wyoming County at least 13 times between October 2009 and May 2011.
His attorney, Demetrius Fannick, tells The Times Leader of Wilkes-Barre that Bartorillo apologized to the victims but did not offer any explanation.
He still faces state charges.
