Pennsylvania Man Charged in 2009 Crash That Killed Sister

GREENSBURG, Pa. -- A western Pennsylvania man has been jailed on vehicular homicide and other charges for a 2009 crash that resulted in his sister's death.

Forty-nine-year-old Matthew Lunn, of Greensburg, faces a preliminary hearing Feb. 28 on charges stemming from the July 2009 crash. His sister, Kelly Mattocks, of Latrobe, was a passenger and died of her injuries on Jan. 4.

State police say Lunn caused the crash by running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle. They also say he had been drinking but was not legally intoxicated.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Lunn who pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in 2005 to a crash that killed the driver of a pickup truck Lunn crashed into in July 2002. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Lunn spent nearly two years in prison for that crash on his way home from methadone treatment.
