Ohio authorities say three men have been indicted on aggravated murder charges for a 2006 contract killing in which the hit man went to the wrong house and killed a man with the same name as the intended target.

The men arrested June 1 and indicted Wednesday on conspiracy and aggravated murder charges are 59-year-old Joseph Rosebrook of Saint Cloud, Florida; 57-year-old Carl Rosebrook of East Liberty, Ohio; and 45-year-old Chad South of Moraine, Ohio.

Geauga (jee-AW'-guh) County's sheriff says Joseph Rosebrook hired South to kill someone named Daniel Ott who'd been a witness against him. Investigators say South killed the wrong Daniel Ott — one in Burton Township, about 40 miles east of Cleveland.

The defendants are in custody in Geauga County. No attorney information is available for them.
