Ohio Police Search for Mother, Son Missing for Days

NEWARK, Ohio – Police in central Ohio are investigating the disappearance of a Newark bank teller and her 4-year-old son, who haven't been seen since Thursday.

WCMH-TV in Columbus reports 24-year-old Sara Apple picked up her son, Max, from day care but didn't return home that day. The station reports Apple's husband says Apple told him she'd be staying at her parents' home in Whitehall but didn't arrive there.

Apple's father, Mark Yohman, says she talks with her mother daily and the disappearance is out of character for her.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the missing pair to contact Newark police.
