A coroner in a rural area of northeast Ohio says a woman suspected of killing her two young children before taking her own life had been taking medication for depression.

Carroll County Coroner Mandal Haas said Thursday that the woman hadn't given any indication that she would kill her 18-month-old son and 6-year-old daughter.

The victims of Wednesday's shootings have been identified as 24-year-old Madison Hallett of Carrollton and her children, Drayden and Natalya. The children had different fathers.

The coroner says each child was shot twice in the head and the woman had a single gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators are checking a note found at the home.
