SALT LAKE CITY – A video showing women in bikinis shooting high-powered weapons and riding in tanks alongside several uniformed officers has triggered an investigation by the Utah National Guard to determine if military equipment and facilities were used in the promotional video.
The Utah Department of Public Safety is also looking into the video, which officials say appears to feature two of their officers wearing state uniforms. Both agencies say they believe the promotional video for a calendar was shot at a private gun range west of Salt Lake City.
The National Guard and Public Safety officials said in statements that the video goes against their values and those of Utah residents.
The England-based company, Hot Shots Calendar, that produced the video wasn't immediately available for comment.
