A jury has found a 39-year-old man guilty of drunken driving and aggravated vehicular homicide for running down and killing two British employees of an upstate New York summer camp.

The Warren County jury on Monday convicted Peter Goldblatt of Indian Lake on all counts relating to the deaths of the two Camp Echo Lake counselors in Warrensburg. Prosecutors say Goldblatt swerved and hit them as they stood beside a road in the southeastern Adirondack Mountains on June 24.

Killed were 21-year-old Dominic Hartley of England and 21-year-old Emily Lewis of Scotland. A third counselor was treated for minor injuries.

Goldblatt faces up to 25 years in state prison on the charge of aggravated vehicular homicide. His lawyer didn't immediately return a call for comment.
