'Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes,' This CEO Explains

In this video, SP+ President and CEO Marc Baumann shares his biggest business tip: "Nothing changes if nothing changes." In other words, if you don't like the outcome of your day-to-day routine, change it. Do something different. Take a new approach to how you run or market your business.

Baumann also describes the influence others have had on him. It's up to you to determine whether you should follow someone's example, he says. He once had a boss who preached a certain philosophy, and it took some time for him to realize how ineffective that philosophy was. That's why he encourages people to examine their own beliefs to determine whether they're limiting themselves.
