North Carolina officials are launching an investigation into the death of a man who died Monday morning while he was in police custody, according to WTVD.
The man, who was not identified, died at the scene of a disturbance call in Raleigh shortly after he was detained by responding officers. The State Bureau of Investigation has been contacted to look into the in-custody death, per department protocol.
