Prosecutors will not seek a retrial against three New York City men whose murder convictions in the 1995 killing of a FedEx Corp. executive were vacated earlier this year.

A prosecutor told a state Supreme Court judge in the Bronx on Friday that her office had found no new evidence in Denise Raymond's murder.

The New York Times (http://nyti.ms/15d3QpV ) reports the judge then dismissed the case and sealed the record.

Michael Cosme, Devon Ayers and Carlos Perez were released from prison in January after being incarcerated for 17 years. They had previously been cleared in the 1995 murder of a Bronx cab driver after two jailed gang members confessed to it.

The two killings happened three days apart in the same neighborhood and were closely linked at trial.
