Workers are returning to New Jersey's largest shopping mall two days after a young man fired multiple shots inside and then killed himself.

The Garden State Plaza in Paramus was closed after the shooting Monday night, and remained shuttered Tuesday as investigators did a thorough search of the property.

Retailers and their employees will get their stores ready for customers, who can enter at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

More than 200 people held a vigil for the gunman on Tuesday night.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says 20-year-old Richard Shoop of Teaneck killed himself with the same weapon he used at the mall and had left a note with his family suggesting he would harm himself.

No other injuries were reported.
