A New York mother is accused of putting something dangerous in her 4-year-old son's feeding tube while he was being treated for a rare disease at an Ohio hospital.

Court records say 25-year-old Jessica Valik, of Syracuse, N.Y., was charged Thursday with child endangering and felonious assault.

A spokeswoman with the Hamilton County prosecutor's office said on Saturday that she didn't know what Valik is accused of putting in the feeding tube. But she did say it was a risk to his health.

Valik's son was being treated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a rare disease that causes skin to blister.

A judge set her bond at $250,000 on Friday.

A call to a home listing for Valik was not answered Saturday. Court records did not list her attorney's name.
