A New Jersey middle school teacher is being charged for allegedly having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.

Criminal sexual contact charges were filed against Erin T. Haskell, 31, by Ocean County prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford on Tuesday. Haskell is a teacher at Intermediate South in Beachwood.

Haskell is charged with first and second degree aggravated sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and exhibiting obscene material to a minor, according to an NBC 4 New York report.

Ford said Haskell is being held on $300,000 bail and plans to surrender herself to authorities, the Ashbury Park Press reported. As of Tuesday evening, Haskell was not listed in Ocean County's inmate records. No information on the student has been released.
