A Nebraska man is facing charges for allegedly waterboarding his girlfriend, whom he accused of being unfaithful, the Smoking Gun reports.

Trevor Case, 22, was charged with domestic assault, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats in connection to the incident, which occurred Saturday inside the home he shared with his girlfriend, according to police records obtained by the Smoking Gun.

Police say Case stuffed socks inside Danielle Stallworth's mouth and tied the 22-year-old woman to the couch.

Authorities allege that Case then placed a shirt over her head and poured a pitcher of water on it, the website reports.

Case is reportedly being held on $150,000 bond at the Lancaster County jail.
