Model Lauren Scruggs, just two weeks after being fitted for a prosthetic eye following an accident in which she walked into a plane's propeller, hit the ski slopes of Colorado over the weekend.

The 23-year-old Texas native and fashion blogger tweeted photos of herself with family and friends on her first vacation since the December accident that took her left eye and hand.

"Such a fun weekend with family and friends :)" Scruggs Tweeted on Saturday.

"Watching ski jumping!! Love it." she wrote in another post.

People magazine reported that the photos were taken in Steamboat Springs, Colo. One image shows Scruggs posing in sunglasses with her twin sister, Brittany, according to the magazine.

Scruggs was severely injured when she walked into a small plane's spinning propeller on Dec. 3 following a flight to view Christmas lights over McKinney, Texas.

The pilot told investigators that he warned Scruggs away from the front of the plane before she walked into the propeller.

A family spokeswoman had told Fox News that the young woman likely walked toward the plane to thank the pilot.
