It's been more than two years since Teresa Scanlan took Las Vegas by storm to become the youngest Miss America in more than 70 years.

Scanlan has now settled in at tiny Patrick Henry College in rural Purcellville, Va., not far from the nation's capital. Scanlan returned to campus in late August for her sophomore year, and says the college that serves homeschooled Christian conservatives has been a good fit. Her classmates never ask to pose for an autograph or to pose for a picture, and let her be a regular student.

She acknowledged, though, that parts of her transition from pageant queen to full-time student have been difficult. She said she struggled with depression before getting help earlier this year. She plans a less stressful workload this year.
