A 32-year-old Michigan mother reportedly died after her husband allegedly placed her in a headlock during a domestic dispute.

The unidentified victim, of Southfield, Mich., was found late Tuesday after police received a call from one of the couple's children who detailed an ongoing physical dispute. The children were overheard yelling "let Mom go," police sources told MyFoxDetroit.com.

The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Her huband, a 38-year-old man who was also not immediately identified, was arrested in Detroit without incident.

The couple's three children -- ages 8, 11 and 16 -- were taken to a relative's house, the website reports. An investigation is ongoing.
