School children are not the only victims of bullying, according to a recent study that finds many adults feel bullied in the workplace.
CareerBuilder.com, which surveyed 5,671 U.S. workers, found that 1 in 4 respondents reported being a victim of bullying at the office.
The study found that the rate of incidence was higher among women, with 34 percent of them saying they were bullied compared to just 22 percent of men.
Fourteen percent of those surveyed said the bully was their immediate supervisor, while 11 percent said it was a co-worker.
The majority of the respondents neither confronted nor reported the office bully, according to the survey.
