Arizona authorities are conducting a manhunt after a woman was shot and severely wounded Tuesday night on the campus of ITT Technical Institute in west Phoenix, which prompted the school to temporarily shut down, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

Police are searching for the suspect, who has reportedly been identified and may have known the victim. The victim, who was not identified in the report, was described as a 28-year-old recruitment counselor.

About 200 students were on campus at the time of the 8:00 p.m. shooting, the report said. They were permitted to exit the building about an hour later at 9:30 p.m.
