The suspect in a deadly shooting at a rooftop bar in downtown St. Louis has surrendered to police.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Scotty Joseph Lee is being held without bail. He gave himself up early Wednesday.

Prosecutors filed a warrant Tuesday charging him with first-degree murder, assault and two armed criminal action counts. No attorney is listed for him in online court records.

Police say several hundred people were on the rooftop level of the Budweiser Brew House at Ballpark Village Sunday night, when Lee and another man got in a shoving match. Thirty-eight-year-old Corey Hall, who was a bystander, was killed when gunfire erupted. Another man was wounded.

The bar is opposite Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals, who were playing in Pittsburgh at the time.
