Police say a 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday in a vehicle moving along an interstate through Louisiana's capital city.

Herbert Williams of Baker was killed after shots were fired from a passing vehicle on Interstate 10 at about 4:15 a.m., according to Baton Rouge police.

Police say three other occupants in the vehicle were not injured.

Officials say Williams died from gunshot injuries after being taken to a hospital.

Police are investigating the shooting. Investigators on Sunday said they had no suspects or motives.
