A man was arrested after plowing his vehicle into a group of children at a block party Saturday in Philadelphia, myfoxphilly.com reports.
Police say the man drove down a block of North Myrtlewood and hit five or six children as they played near an inflatable bounce house.
According to myfoxphilly.com, two children suffered minor injuries, and a 2-year-old who suffered bumps and bruises was listed in good condition at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. One boy, 9, received scrapes to his legs.
One 9-year-old, however, was listed in critical condition after suffering serious head injuries, according to the station.
The driver fled the scene, but crashed his vehicle into a corner building and was arrested.
