Three people were wounded Saturday during a shooting incident in Oakland, Calif., that left one person dead.

The four men, who are related, were outside a property in the 1600 block of 28th Avenue about 3:50am local time when a man approached them and opened fire, the Oakland Tribune reported.

Augusto Matias, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene while his brother and two cousins, aged in their 20s and 30s, were taken to the hospital.

One of the victims was critically wounded and underwent emergency surgery, while the other two were in stable condition, police said.

The four men had been celebrating a relative's graduation at a party that began Friday evening.

Police did not have a description of the suspect or a motive for the crime.
