An Ohio man is fighting for his life after he was submerged upside down in water inside an 8-foot sump pump well, Fox8.com reported.
Police officers were able to pull him out by grabbing the man's foot and pulling him up to where a second officer could grab the victim's leg, the Web site reported.
Officers began CPR when he was lifted out, and was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The man's friend had called 911 saying the victim had fallen, head first, into the well.
