A man accused of shooting at two Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries agents in May has been convicted on two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

The News-Star (http://tnsne.ws/1OKEhVp ) reports a jury voted 10-2 to convict 29-year-old Luke Hust Thursday after four hours of deliberation.

The jury also found Hust guilty of illegal possession of a firearm.

Scott Bullitt, an agent shot and paralyzed, testified Thursday along with agent Josh Harris, who was shot at during the encounter.

Bullitt said Thursday he will never walk again. He recounted the events and became emotional at the end discussing his prognosis.

Hust was arrested after a four-hour manhunt that brought more than 100 officers from almost a dozen agencies into Ouachita Parish.

Sentencing is set for Feb. 11.
