An Ohio man accused of imprisoning and raping a teenage relative has had his latest request to represent himself turned down.

The Blade newspaper (http://bit.ly/2dMPSdy) reports a Lucas County judge on Thursday denied 53-year-old Timothy Ciboro's (SIH'-bohr-ohz) request. She ruled after the Toledo man told the court that he and his son's rights were being "manipulated."

Ciboro then asked that his fourth court-appointed attorney be dismissed. The judge also denied that request. Ciboro's attorney didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.

The judge ended Ciboro's self-representation earlier this month, citing his courtroom conduct that included frequent interruptions and outbursts.

Ciboro has pleaded not guilty. His 28-year-old son, Esten Ciboro, is charged with rape and has also pleaded not guilty. The son is representing himself and hasn't responded to requests for comment.
