ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says a moderate quake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.3 has been felt in Anchorage.

The quake was recorded Tuesday at 6:03 p.m. local time. No damage has been reported.

The temblor was centered 45 miles east-northeast of Talkeetna in central Alaska at a depth of about 26 miles. Talkeetna is about 85 miles north of Anchorage.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center is a cooperative program of the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska and the U.S. Geological Survey.
