Police in Kentucky are looking for an inmate who walked away from a minimum-security prison.

Officials from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington say in a news release that 41-year-old inmate Louis Stokes escaped the prison on Sunday.

The statement says Stokes was serving a 37-year sentence for receiving stolen property in Henderson County. He was scheduled to be eligible for parole in April 2018.

Stokes is described as a 5-foot-11 white male with brown hair and green eyes.
