Jury selection continues for a third day on Wednesday in the murder trial of a Florida millionaire charged with fatally shooting his 55-year-old wife in 2009.

Robert Ward, 63, was very relaxed during his second day of court as dozens of jurors told a judge they have knowledge of the case, MyFoxOrlando.com reports. Some potential jurors said they had already made up their minds on a possible verdict.

Ward told an emergency operator that he had shot his wife, Diane, but the real estate developer claims he was wrestling the gun from her hands as she attempted suicide.

Ward remains free on $100,000 bail. His attorney has filed motions to keep results of a gun ballistics test conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement out of the trial, MyFoxOrlando.com reports. The tests determined the distance between the victims and the firearm. A judge denied the request last week.
