PROVO, Utah – A judge is holding a hearing to decide whether to allow the youngest daughter of a former Utah doctor charged with murder to testify how she found her mother unresponsive in a bathtub.

The judge was hearing testimony Thursday from an investigator about whether other family members influenced the young child's memory. Now 12, Ada MacNeill was 6-years-old at the time of her mother's 2007 death.

Martin MacNeill is accused of arranging a face-lift for his wife, Michelle, then mixing a fatal combination of drugs for her recovery and helping her into the tub.

More testimony was expected Thursday from MacNeill's older daughters, Rachel MacNeill and Alexis Somers, who have said they believe their father killed their mother.

The trial is in its second week. It's expected to last at least one month.
