TOMBSTONE, Ariz. – In the town too tough to die, a Tombstone bar and restaurant was no match for roaring flames.
Forty firefighters from at least three fire departments battled an intense fire at the Six Gun City Restaurant and Bar Wednesday morning.
Tombstone Town Marshal Billy Cloud tells KOLD-TV the building is a total loss, but firefighters were able to keep the fire confined to the restaurant.
There is some smoke damage to adjacent buildings.
Arson investigators from the Sierra Vista Fire Department will be looking for a cause.
The restaurant's website boasts of a 40-foot long bar and daily gunfight shows for tourists on the streets of Tombstone.
